El Arepaso de Orlando Food Truck

February 17, 2015 at 8:56 PM

Are you looking for a downtown monument to tickle your tastebuds for a late night snack?  Try El Arepaso de Orlando Food Truck.  It is located on 53 E Washington Street between Orange Avenue and Magnolia Street.  This white truck does not have a sign but it will have a line so expect to be waiting for delicious snack.  However, don’t fret, the wait is totally worth it, all of El Arepaso de Orlando’s food is made to order.

If you’re looking for a traditional Venezuelan treat, try the Chicken Arepa with cheese ($5).  The marinated chicken is stuffed within a piping hot Arepa with cheese.  You might become impatient waiting for it to cool down but your tongue will thank you.

Or if you want something a little larger to soak up the drinking you partook in that night, try the Special ($7), which is a freshly made hamburger with tomato, ham, lettuce, bacon, crispy potato sticks, cheese and a special sauce.  This hamburger is quite large but it is really tasty and will leave you wanting to make plans to visit downtown again just to have this treat.  These types of hamburgers are typically found at Colombian restaurants but this Venezuelan truck takes them to another tasty level.

El Arepaso de Orlando is open Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM.  With all of the events going on downtown, make the El Arepaso de Orlando Food Truck one of your stops, you won’t be disappointed.
