Tribute to Charlie Trotter

Norman's at The Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes 

With the Holidays fast approaching, the city of Orlando starts getting ready for many events. Christmas parties, employee events, New Year's parties, and of course, we have NORMAN'S at The Ritz Carlton hosting an elegant tribute to the late Charlie Trotter. Who is Charlie Trotter? He was an American Chef and restauranteur born in 1959; he did many things for the love and passion of cooking... He hosted the 1999 PBS cooking show The Kitchen Sessions with Charlie Trotter, wrote 14 cookbooks and three management books, and was involved with his philanthropic Charlie Trotter Culinary Education Foundation. In 2005, He was awarded the Humanitarian of the Year award by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. So yes, in the culinary industry, the name Charlie Trotter is a big deal.

So what is this event? On December 13th from 7pm to 10pm, NORMAN’S at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, located in Grande Lakes 4012 Central Florida Parkway, will host this event. The evening will feature hors d’oeuvres presented by renowned local chefs and culinary stations by Chef Norman and his team. Sommeliers will be pairing wines accordingly, making this evening perfect. In addition to the delicious food, they will also feature a silent auction to benefit The Trotter Project, which their mission is to celebrate the lasting legacy of Chef Charlie Trotter through culinary and educational programs, services and events that foster professional and personal excellence, and create a sense of community among individuals dedicated to these principals... It is all for a good cause! Great food, good wine and you are supporting the project =)
